HR Legal and Compliance Coordinator

Job Description:
The HR Legal and Compliance Coordinator plays a strategic role in aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position is responsible for providing expert legal and compliance advisory ensuring adherence to labor laws and corporate regulations, and supporting HR operations through policy development, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The HR Legal and Compliance Coordinator will also contribute to ISO and accreditation compliance, promote ethical practices, and facilitate training programs to foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, service agreements, NDAs, waivers, releases, and other employee- or vendor-related legal documents.
- Provide legal advisory and guidance to HR and management to ensure compliance with Philippine laws and regulations governing labor, corporate operations, and data privacy (DOLE, SEC, BIR, PEZA, LGU, NPC, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing ISO certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO Information Security).
- Identify potential legal and compliance risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Promote ethical workplace practices by developing and facilitating legal and compliance awareness sessions or training programs for both employees and management.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, auditors, and government agencies to resolve compliance issues and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Perform other legal, compliance, or HR-related functions as may be assigned by HR Leadership (HR Managers and up) or company leadership.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years' working experience in any of the following areas: General Human Resources, Legal and Compliance and/or Employee Relations.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Policy Management and Administration (Employee Relations, Legal and Compliance, Policy Management).
- Comprehensive experience in Drafting/Reviewing Legal and Compliance Documents (such as waiver forms, contracts, agreements, Code of Conduct, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (negotiation, position paper drafting).
- Proficiency in using MS Office/Google Workspace applications is also preferred
- Adherence to onsite work if needed.
- Adherence to report in any of PSG's Microsites.
