About the Role

We are looking for a Company Nurse / Safety Officer to join our team. This dual-role position is vital in ensuring the health, wellness, and safety of our employees and the compliance of our plant with occupational health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical and first aid care while also ensuring that the workplace complies with DOLE, OSHC, and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

As Company Nurse

  • Provide first aid, emergency care, and medical assistance to employees.
  • Maintain and update employee health records and daily clinic logbook.
  • Manage and replenish medical supplies, medicines, and first aid kits.
  • Assist in pre-employment, annual physical exams, and wellness programs.
  • Educate employees on health, wellness, and preventive care.

As Safety Officer

  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace hazard monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards (OSHS, DOLE, DOH).
  • Enforce the proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Investigate workplace accidents/incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions.
  • Organize fire drills, emergency response training, and toolbox meetings.
  • Maintain records required by DOLE/OSHC for safety compliance.
