Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized Finance and Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting daily accounting and finance operations and managing a company's site petty cash fund. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

· Help in maintaining accurate, updated, and well-organized financial records.

· Assist in ensuring all financial documents comply with internal policies and applicable regulations.

· Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Finance and Accounting Department.

· Safeguard, monitor, and manage the company's petty cash fund in accordance with established procedures.

· Disburse petty cash for authorized expenses, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.

· Accurately record all petty cash transactions in the petty cash ledger.

· Verify that all disbursements are supported by corresponding receipts and approved request forms.

· Conduct regular petty cash reconciliations (daily, weekly, or monthly as required)

· Prepare petty cash replenishment reports and submit them for review and approval

· Ensure proper documentation and filing of all records related to petty cash.

· Report any discrepancies or irregularities in the petty cash fund to the appropriate supervisor without delay.

· Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance and Accounting Managers.

Qualifications:

· Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

· Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and internal controls

· Experience in handling petty cash or cash transactions is an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and familiarity with Xero is a plus

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

· Maintains confidentiality and handles financial information with integrity

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Able to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

· Works well both independently and in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
