Assists the Company in providing IT services to all the employees/users and in maintaining the quality of IT services within the standards of the Company.

  • Head of the Department
  • In-charge of all I.T. related matters
  • Ensure the Service of MAAGAP's GIS (General Insurance System) and Network Application Server during official working hours or as needed
  • Provides system maintenance of MAAGAP's GIS
  • Provides program modifications and report generations using Universe BASIC of MAAGAP's GIS when needed
  • Performs Monthly Database Housekeeping and Updating of GIS

Software and Hardware Maintenance

  • Hardware, Software and Network in-house troubleshooting and repair
  • Responsible for the production and safety of the Daily, Monthly and Annual System/Data Backup which should be in accordance with the I.T. Standard Backup Procedure.
  • Provide assistance to users on all I.T. related problems
  • Assist in the education and training of computer users to make them conversant with the MAAGAP's GIS. Will conduct in-house computer training on PC Application software to all staff on a scheduled basis
  • Provide MAAGAP with solutions on all I.T. Related Matters
  • Eventually propose in-house System Designs and Development with accordance to H.O. I.T. Standards
  • Provide I.T. Strategic Plan that will identify current Strengths, weaknesses and recommendations in support of our business strategies
  • Will schedule I.T. Projects and SRFs in accordance to the department's SOP

Report and Submit to management completed I.T. projects

  • Must train the I.T. Assistant on the duties and responsibilities of the Department Head to ensure the company's full I.T. service function in case of emergency or his absence
  • Responsible for the maintenance and development of the Company's Business Continuity Plan
  • In-charge of I.T. Project Proposals and implementation
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
