Qualifications for Purchasing Officer

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in Construction Industry
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with procurement software is a plus
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement

Job Type: Full-time
