Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and performance of the company. The GM ensures that business objectives are met by providing effective leadership, driving operational efficiency, managing resources, and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures aligned with company goals.
Provide leadership and direction to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
Identify opportunities for business growth, expansion, and improvement.
2. Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of all departments to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Establish and monitor performance benchmarks and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and industry standards.
3. Financial Management
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-effective operations.
Approve expenditures and allocate resources effectively.
4. People Management
Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and staff.
Foster a positive, professional, and results-driven work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and ensure proper training and development programs are in place.
5. Customer and Stakeholder Relations
Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Represent the company in negotiations, presentations, and industry events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of business processes, financial management, and operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
