Join our Global IT Organization as a System Lead, where you will play a key role in supporting the Animal Health Global Innovation Department—driving the development of new drugs, vaccines, and anti-parasitic treatments for animal patients worldwide.

In this position, you will lead and enhance systems that enable clinical trial management and regulatory document submissions, ensuring reliability, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional global product team to design, develop, and maintain IT solutions that empower business operations.
  • Ensure operational excellence of systems and applications while maintaining compliance with the client and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the planning, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems, including technical operations and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate system-related activities, assigning responsibilities and ensuring timely execution of technical and operational tasks.
  • Maintain and document system architecture throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Serve as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective technological solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and advancement of software concepts, driving innovation and sharing best practices across teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end software lifecycle, including documentation, patching, updates, access controls, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and system issues, ensuring business continuity and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure management, including databases, servers, cloud systems, networking, and interfaces (experience with containerization is a plus).

  • Proficiency in at least three (3) of the following technologies/platforms:

  • OpenShift

  • Bitbucket
  • JIRA/Confluence
  • Jenkins
  • AWS
  • APIs
  • Strong understanding of system lifecycle management and documentation requirements in GxP environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • A motivated team player with a global mindset, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Veeva Clinical Suite certification is a strong plus.
