Job Summary

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all tax laws, government regulations, and internal policies. The role focuses on handling taxation matters, BIR processing, and regulatory filings while supporting the Finance and Accounting team in monitoring, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial and tax records.

Key Responsibilities

Taxation & BIR Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc.) in compliance with BIR regulations.
  • Handle BIR processing, assessments, audits, and correspondence.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax-related schedules, reports, and attachments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

  • Monitor compliance with statutory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGUs, PEZA, etc.).
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory reports and requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records for easy retrieval during audits.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls relating to taxation and compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating tax risks.

Finance & Accounting Support

  • Provide support to the Finance and Accounting team in reconciliation of tax accounts and related financial records.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government agencies when required.
  • Assist in compliance projects and process improvements to strengthen efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in taxation, compliance, or finance, preferably in FMCG or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php50,000.00 per month
