We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior DevOps Engineer leads technical initiatives across our cloud infrastructure and mentors other engineers in DevOps practices while ensuring successful design, development, and delivery of platform infrastructure.

Duties:

  • Lead technical design and implementation across our cloud infrastructure
  • Serve as technical lead for infrastructure teams, demonstrating expertise across GCP services
  • Guide adoption of new technologies and help teams develop DevOps capabilities
  • Design and implement complex infrastructure solutions and automation
  • Drive improvements in DevOps processes and best practices
  • Mentor engineers in developing cloud expertise and learning new technologies
  • Solve complex technical challenges that span multiple infrastructure systems
  • Evaluate new technologies and make architectural recommendations
  • Lead technical planning and estimation activities
  • Ensure infrastructure security and reliability across team initiatives
  • Lead on-call rotations and incident response processes
  • Partner with development teams on technical feasibility and implementation

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
  • At least 6 years devops engineering experience
  • Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  • Strong Bash scripting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with serverless infrastructure in Google Cloud, specifically: Cloud Run and Cloud Functions
  • Experience managing infrastructure for Postgres / AlloyDB (devops side, not querying).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Endpoints, API Gateway, Eventarc, Pub/Sub, Schedulers, and Workflows.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Load Balancer and Google-managed SSL certificates.
  • Knowledge of Artifact Registry for managing container images and artifacts.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Elastic Cloud (devops side, not querying).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud IAM, networking, and cost optimization.
  • Exposure to observability tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
