Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accounting Assistant located either in Alabang or Davao City (whichever is nearer).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Work with reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Processing invoices for payment, tracking accounts receivable, and managing vendor/supplier and customer relationships
  • Responsible for the administrative support to the accounting department, including organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Deviations gathering and processing
  • Utilizing accounting software to manage financial data and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards
  • Assessment, execution and compliance
  • Process Improvement and Control
  • Responsible for development of the Accounting Systems (with the help of IT and Accounting Development Facilitator)
  • Compliance and regulatory oversight

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology/Management. A Master's degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CISA) is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounting.
  • Must have a firm and assertive approach to enforcing policies and ensuring compliance.
  • With strong attention to details, coupled with the ability to challenge inconsistencies and enforce corrective actions
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity, independence and professional skepticism
  • Excellent communication, analytical and reporting skills
  • A plus if with familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central / Field Service or related software
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Can report to our ALABANG/DAVAO OFFICE from 3PM til 12Midnight PH time
