Development Operations Engineer

We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer who will play a key role in automating, scaling, and optimizing our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Server Management

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hostinger, DigitalOcean Cloudways, and Vercel.
  • Set up and maintain Windows Server instances, ensuring system security, performance, and uptime.
  • Utilize CloudPanel Hosting for simplified server and website management.

Networking & Web Server Administration

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize NGINX and Apache web servers for high availability and performance.
  • Implement load balancing, caching, and security enhancements for web applications.
  • Troubleshoot server performance bottlenecks and ensure seamless operation.

Software Development & Deployment

  • Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and other tools for efficient deployments.
  • Manage and deploy PHP Laravel applications, ensuring version control and staging workflows.
  • Oversee deployments and updates for WordPress, including security patches andplugin management.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce security best practices across cloud platforms and servers.
  • Manage user access controls and authentication for Google Workspace as an administrator.
  • Implement and maintain firewall rules, SSL certificates, and access control policies.

Device & API Integration

  • Configure and manage ZKTeco biometric devices for access control and workforce tracking.
  • Integrate and manage Twilio for SMS, voice, and authentication services.
  • Implement RabbitMQ for message queueing and distributed systems.

Monitoring & Incident Response

  • Set up logging and monitoring tools for real-time alerts on cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, and network-related incidents efficiently.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance optimizations.

Database Administration & Cost Optimization

  • Manage SQL Server, MySQL, and other databases, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and backups.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce operational costs.
  • Implement centralized database solutions for SIT, Staging, and UAT environments.

Technical Expertise

Must-Have:

  • Programming Languages: PHP (Laravel, WordPress Backend), JavaScript (AJAX, JSON), HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, MSSQL.
  • Software Proficiencies: Jenkins, Docker, Vercel, Cloudflare, CloudPanel.
  • Server & Cloud Platforms: GCP, AWS, Hostinger, DigitalOcean Cloudways, Windows Server.
  • Web Server Administration: NGINX, Apache.
  • Security & Compliance: Firewall rules, access control policies, SSL, Google Workspace administration.
  • Database Management: SQL Server, MySQL.
  • Monitoring & Deployment: CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, incident resolution.
