We are looking for SAP HR ABAP DEVELOPER:

  • 1 Associate
  • 1 Mid-level
  • 1 Senior

Essential Job Functions

  1. Ability to work on ABAP developments of a product.

This will be working alongside the Company's Architect and US-based ABAP Developer.

  1. Troubleshooting skills:

Ability to problem solve and systematically work through an end user help desk problems issue. Communicate back and liaise with the Customer Care team on the best remedy and way forward.

  1. Minimal autonomy is expected.

Whilst the role encompasses the ability to work with other developers, there will be times (e.g., a week or two) whereby no supervision will be available. The applicant, therefore, must be autonomous enough to work independently.

  1. Knowledge of SAP HR is a big plus.

  2. SAP Technical:

  3. A prior experience in developing SAP reports and interfaces or applications. Be available to assist the functional teams with a debug to analyze why functionality is processing in a certain manner.

  4. Understanding of object oriented is required.
  5. A good understanding of portal technologies, including ABAP Webdynpro and other portal development tools such as HTML5, Javascript etc.
  6. A high level understanding of the new technologies being introduced by SAP (i.e PCC / SuccessFactors /SAP cloud). This will be beneficial when deciding on the technology to use as part of any development.

  7. Knowledge on SuccessFactors itself will be a big plus.

  8. Development Lifecycle:

  9. Ability to develop based on the contents of specifications provided by the architect team.

  10. Be able to develop your own unit tests and other styles of testing (System, Regression, PVT etc.) where required to do so.

  11. Participate in Code per reviews.

  12. Sensitive Data

Respect the sensitivity of employee data in all environments that the Company may have access to (in both production and non-production environments) and only reference employee data as part of day-to-day support activities and do not disclose employee information to anyone other than those who are involved in the resolution of the issue.

  1. SLA

Accountable for call progression. Be responsible for issue queue resolution and the SLA's attached to call resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of SAP R/3 ABAP experience
  • SAP ABAP Object Oriented knowledge is a must
  • Experience within the SAP HR/PY modules or work in ABAP for HR is a plus
  • Understanding of new concepts such as HANA, OpenUI5 is a plus
  • Should be open to any shift: EMEA / ANZ / India / North America

WORK ARRANGEMENTS

  • BGC, Taguig
  • Work Set-up: Remote upon regularization (but need to report onsite during company events)
  • During the 6-month probationary period, possible to require onsite reporting 4x a week for Knowledge Transfer (KT)
  • Work Schedule: Should be open to any shift: EMEA / ANZ / India / North America

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php135, Php200,000.00 per month
