An ABAP Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, building, and configuring cloud-ready business applications, services, and extensions using SAP's ABAP Cloud development model. This includes working with SAP S/4HANA (public/private cloud or on-premise) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) using ABAP Cloud standards

Utilizing tools like Eclipse IDE, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and Adobe LiveCycle Designer for development

Applying Core Data Services (CDS) and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for data modeling and business logic

Ensuring code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development standards

Participating in daily huddles and integration meetings to track progress and resolve blockers

Must-have skills:

Proficiency in ABAP Cloud Development, including RAP and CDS views

Experience with SAP CI, SAP APIs, and Software Collections for extensibility

Familiarity with transport and naming conventions, code review checklists, and technical documentation standards

Good-to-have:

Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and integration with external systems

Understanding of cloud-native principles like microservices and REST APIs

Budget/target bill rate per hr.: Rate of CL9-CL8

No. of hours per week: 45

Shift Schedule: 9:00 am -7:00 pm

Work Set up: Hybrid
