Data Center Technology Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support on EV Charger, Solar PV, BESS, and related technologies.

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagrams and escalate issues as needed.

  • Oversee installation and quality of electrical systems and data center equipment.

  • Install and position EV Chargers, Solar PV, BESS, and cable trays/panel boards.

  • Coordinate technical activities with project stakeholders (PM, contractors, clients).

  • Implement project plans and schedules.

  • Maintain technical credibility and collaborate with sales and data center teams.

  • Attend technical meetings and prepare As-Built documentation.

  • Create incident/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for clients.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a college graduate of Electrical Engineering

  • Has experience on solar electrical installation, quantity survey/estimate

  • With background on solar facilities construction.

  • Has background with data center facilities equipment is advantageous

  • Deep understanding on Laws, Executive Orders, and DOE Department Circulars involving Renewable Energy specifically for Solar PV which includes but not limited to Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (RA9513), Energy Efficiency and Conversion Act (RA11285), EOs on Solar Rooftop and Self Consumption Applications.

  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD

  • Candidates with certifications from Data Center Facility Equipment, EV Charger, Solar PV, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and related technologies manufacturer has advantage

Competency:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be a licensed electrical engineer.

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD (2D/3D)

  • Knowledgeable in electrical/mechanical standards (Local and International)

  • Proficiency in using solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, SAM, etc)

Working Conditions:

  • The candidate must be willing to work form good to extreme work area conditions and must be willing to travel to various parts of the Philippines depending on the need to perform his/her duty as indicated.
