Position Available: Cashier

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role.

  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Goal-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Trustworthy and capable of handling financial transactions responsibly.

  • Flexibility to be assigned as a reliever to other branches, stores, or positions as needed by the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Process rental transactions, preparing and explaining rental agreements. Efficiently handle customer transactions, including cash, card payments, and other forms of payment, ensuring accuracy and speed at the checkout counter.

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, answering inquiries and resolving payment-related concerns with a positive attitude.

  • POS Management: Operate and maintain point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring the equipment is functioning correctly and keeping records accurate.

  • Cash Handling: Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure all funds are accounted for.

  • Sales Assistance: Assist customers with rental product inquiries, returns, or exchanges, ensuring a seamless experience.

  • Inventory Monitoring: Collaborate with the team to keep track of inventory levels and ensuring all rental items are clean, functional, and well-presented.

  • Promotional Knowledge: Stay updated on promotions, discounts, and special offers to inform customers and enhance their shopping experience.

  • Compliance and Procedures: Adhere to store policies and procedures, including handling refunds, discounts, and receipts.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other store staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient workplace.

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Flexibility: Serve as a reliever to other branches, stores, or positions when the business requires, demonstrating adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.
