Production Section Lead

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB:

Under the supervision of the Section Manager, the Section Lead controls and monitors production processes supervise the activities of Process Operator and Material Handlers and see to it that they perform their work efficiently. Implement the correct usage of raw materials, utilities, production supplies, and man-hours spent, including the strict enforcement of safety rules and regulations.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB:

Implement the correct usage of raw materials, utilities, production supplies, and man-hours spent, including the strict enforcement of safety rules and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check the equipment status and the production activities of his section and his men. Performs turnover report of entire production to shift relievers for coordination and continuity of work.
• Monitors and operates production processes of his section and ensures that procedures, instructions, and process records are strictly followed and implemented and reports to the Production Superintendent any abnormalities observed.
• Supervises work of production ensuring efficient completion of scheduled production and ensuring that subordinates perform their work safely and efficiently.
• Check and request materials and supplies for production process activities.
• Ensures enforcement of safety rules and regulations in his workplace, as well as continuous monitoring of the use, control, and maintenance of PPE by his co-workers.
• Inspects equipment and accessories and coordinates with utilities and maintenance regarding the request for repairs/checks and supplies to ensure that process is carried out under the controlled condition
• Conducts orientation of new workers on the plant safety programs, rules, and regulations and documented procedures and instructions.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance crew on the assigned activities during shutdown and supervises the shutdown activities in his work area.
• Prepares documented work instruction that conforms to the integrated management system.
• Investigates and make reports for any non-conformity in the production and formulate corrective and Preventive actions.
• Ensure that process-related documents are complete, reviewed, and verified at the end of each process.
• Performs other work-related functions as may be assigned by his superiors.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical), preferably licensed
• With at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php35,000.00 per month
