A leading organization in the power generation sector is seeking a highly experienced Plant Head to lead overall operations and maintenance of its power facility. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant plant operations while driving strategic initiatives and organizational growth.

About the Role

The Plant Head will oversee Operations and Maintenance teams, ensuring the plant meets performance targets in alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate objectives. This leader will also play a key role in strategic planning, budget oversight, people development, and integrated management system compliance. As needed, the Plant Head may act as Deputy Site Head.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage plant operations and maintenance to achieve efficiency, revenue, and reliability targets.
  • Optimize operational and maintenance practices to align with power industry and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and resource availability.
  • Drive strategic planning and annual work program approvals for Operations and Maintenance teams.
  • Review and endorse budget proposals, CAPEX, and OPEX, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members, ensuring competency development and high performance.
  • Serve as Management Representative for the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure ISO compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, health, and regulatory standards, addressing risks and incidents when necessary.
  • Act as interim Site Head when designated.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer; Professional Engineer credential is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of Power Plant Operations & Maintenance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role; Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) exposure will be a definite advantage
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in business writing and reporting.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strong organizational capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to work in Cebu

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php180, Php250,000.00 per month
