IT Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a tech-savvy and motivated IT Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in IT support, software development, systems administration, and project management. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Support & Systems Administration:

• Provide direct technical assistance to staff for network, hardware, and software issues 1.
• Troubleshoot, repair, configure, and install software and hardware.
• Assist with imaging and deploying computers and IT equipment.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets.
• Respond to user service requests and log issues in the service management platform.

Software Development & QA:

• Participate in coding, testing, and deploying software applications 3.
• Create unit and integration test plans and perform testing.
• Assist in peer code reviews and documentation.
• Support application deployment and maintenance.

Project & Business Systems Analysis:

• Meet with stakeholders to define business requirements 2.
• Conduct research on software solutions and make IT recommendations.
• Participate in design sessions and prototype development.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:Education & Technical Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
• Proficiency in technical tools such as HTML, SQL, and Microsoft Office 3652.
