About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our dynamic finance team at Hipolito Sagun CPAs and Co. Based in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, this full-time role will be responsible for handling various accounting and financial reporting duties for our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform account analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a professional services or financial services environment
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory
