Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a veterinarian

What are the Job Responsibilities?

·       Diagnose and treat animal illnesses and injuries.

·       Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide emergency care.

·       Conduct feed trials and evaluate new feed ingredients

·       Stay updated with industry trends and scientific advancements in animal nutrition

·       Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols.

·       Promote and enforce high standards of animal welfare and humane treatment.

·       Manage breeding programs, pregnancy diagnosis, and reproductive interventions

·       Provide obstetrical care and neonatal support.

·       Educate animal handlers and farm staff on animal health practices.

·       Support farmers, clients, or organizations with technical advice

·       Maintain accurate health records and treatment logs.

·       Prepare reports on disease outbreaks, mortality, and productivity.

·       Ensure adherence to veterinary public health laws, animal movement regulations, and medicine usage protocols.

What are the Qualifications?

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Licensed or registered.
  • 1–5 years of clinical or field experience.
  • Knowledge of common diseases, treatment protocols, and animal welfare laws
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with herd/flock management software and health record systems
