About the role

EPICUREX CORP. is seeking an enthusiastic HR Staff to join our growing team in NS Amoranto Quezon City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our human resources initiatives and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating final selection with the owner.
  • Maintain an active talent pool for future hiring needs.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing contracts, collecting requirements, and conducting orientation.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and workplace issues.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and morale-building initiatives.
  • Help monitor employee performance and attendance, and prepare related reports.

3. Payroll & Timekeeping

  • Manage and process payroll accurately and on time, including salary computations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Maintain and verify timekeeping records to ensure accurate attendance and overtime data.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for payroll adjustments and resolve payroll-related concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations on wages and benefits.

4. HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records, 201 files, and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Draft HR-related memos, notices, and correspondences.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports for management review.

5. Owner & Management Support

  • Provide HR-related updates, reports, and recommendations directly to the owner.
  • Assist the owner in special projects, policy implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on HR matters.

6. Other Duties

  • Coordinate training schedules and employee development programs.
  • Assist in health and safety compliance, including orientation and workplace inspections.
  • Help with other administrative tasks as assigned by the owner.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Fluent in English and Filipino (both written and verbal) required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and HR information systems
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required
