About the role
EPICUREX CORP. is seeking an enthusiastic HR Staff to join our growing team in NS Amoranto Quezon City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our human resources initiatives and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating final selection with the owner.
- Maintain an active talent pool for future hiring needs.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing contracts, collecting requirements, and conducting orientation.
2. Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and workplace issues.
- Assist in conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and morale-building initiatives.
- Help monitor employee performance and attendance, and prepare related reports.
3. Payroll & Timekeeping
- Manage and process payroll accurately and on time, including salary computations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Maintain and verify timekeeping records to ensure accurate attendance and overtime data.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for payroll adjustments and resolve payroll-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations on wages and benefits.
4. HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, 201 files, and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Draft HR-related memos, notices, and correspondences.
- Assist in preparing HR reports for management review.
5. Owner & Management Support
- Provide HR-related updates, reports, and recommendations directly to the owner.
- Assist the owner in special projects, policy implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on HR matters.
6. Other Duties
- Coordinate training schedules and employee development programs.
- Assist in health and safety compliance, including orientation and workplace inspections.
- Help with other administrative tasks as assigned by the owner.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Fluent in English and Filipino (both written and verbal) required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and HR information systems
- Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required
