Team Overview

This role sits within the CAFC Frameworks and Programmes Team, managing programmes across the C-AFC Frameworks & Programs Change Management portfolio AFC, Compliance, Business Conflicts Office (BCO), Group Governance (GG), Frameworks & Programs (F&P), Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A), from requirements to successful deployment

The F&P Change Team contributes to the uplift of the Firm's capabilities across multiple lines of defense.

In this pivotal role as the Manila F&P Change Management Head of the Centre of Excellence, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and effective execution of Business-as-Usual (BAU) Change Management activities. This encompasses overseeing the day-to-day operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and governance frameworks that underpin all change efforts within the F&P division. Your leadership will guarantee the consistent application of best practices, maintain robust control environments, and proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with ongoing change, thereby safeguarding business continuity and driving sustainable operational excellence across the organization

Your key responsibilities

  • Establish and refine CoE frameworks for BAU Change Management: Spearhead the development and continuous improvement of standardized methodologies, tools, and best practices for managing Business-as-Usual (BAU) Change Management activities across the organization, such as periodic reporting & MI.
  • Drive CoE-led planning and oversight: Provide centralized guidance and expertise for planning and overseeing change initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation, timeline adherence, and consistent deliverable quality across various programs.
  • Deliver cross-program analytical insights from a CoE perspective: Leverage specialized subject matter expertise within the CoE to provide analytical oversight and strategic guidance across diverse programs
  • Ensure CoE-standardized program reporting: Implement and manage robust reporting mechanisms to deliver accurate, timely, and consistent updates on all program deliverables, reflecting CoE standards for transparency and effectiveness.
  • Lead CoE efforts in milestone tracking and contribution: Facilitate the establishment and tracking of key milestones, ensuring the timely implementation of program initiatives in alignment with CoE strategic objectives.
  • Develop and deploy CoE-driven risk and issue management strategies: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues associated with change initiatives
  • Enforce CoE governance standards for projects: Establish and uphold rigorous project governance frameworks
  • Orchestrate CoE collaboration for stakeholder-aligned artifacts: Facilitate collaboration with Subject Matter Experts to produce high-quality, stakeholder-aligned project artifacts that reflect CoE best practices and enhance clarity and consistency.

Your skills and experience

  • Good knowledge of the global regulatory environment, and ability to communicate this effectively to the business
  • Experience in problem solving, business analysis and working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Structured, organised and results oriented approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Significant experience as a Project Manager having worked on Change or Transformation projects within Compliance or another second line function
  • Attention to detail and able to apply control framework around processes and identify gaps, risks
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with ability to communicate with different stakeholders
  • Very good communication, presentation skills & ability to explain complex structures
