About the role

Arugula Inc. is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our dynamic team at our location in Pasig City As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant during assigned shifts. This is a full-time role and you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the shift operations, including scheduling, task assignments and customer service
  • Provide training, support and mentorship to the service team to drive performance and development
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain sufficient stock of ingredients and supplies
  • Handle customer queries, feedback and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations
  • Support the General Manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the restaurant

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a shift management or supervisory role in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving team performance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle challenges effectively
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a great dining experience
