JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT Software Management Analyst is responsible for managing, optimizing, and overseeing the lifecycle of software applications within the organization. This includes software inventory, licensing, deployment and updates, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit standards. The analyst will also collaborate effectively with different business units and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with software management processes.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audit Compliance
  • Ensure that all software and its configurations comply with security policies, legal standards, and industry regulations
  • Conduct regular audits of software usage and licensing to mitigate risk
  • Software Inventory Management
  • Manage software inventory
  • Ensure new software are assessed and approved by Information Security
  • Retire obsolete software versions and collaborate with IT support teams for removal
  • Software License Management
  • Monitor licenses to ensure renewal on time
  • Initiate license renewal process through coordination with software owners and Procurement
  • Manage and assign software licenses to designated software owners

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in IT Inventory or Asset Management.
  • Must be amenable to work shifting schedule and willing to be deployed in Pasay area.
  • Must be open for Project Based Employment Contract 1 year, guaranteed RENEWABLE
