The Distribution Center Supervisor for Outbound Operations oversees the efficient and accurate processing, staging, and shipment of store/customer orders. This role ensures daily operational goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and team performance. The supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, uphold compliance, and achieve customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Supervise outbound activities, including order picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Ensure on-time shipment and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels based on workload forecasts.
- Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve outbound order discrepancies, delays, or issues promptly.
- Maintain the accurate staging and tracking of inventory for outbound shipments.
Qualifications
- With bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or any related field
- Has relevant experience in operations and dispatch
- Background in retail is an advantage
