Lifeguard (Full-Time) – Rockwell

We are looking for a responsible, certified, and dedicated Lifeguard to join our growing team at Rockwell. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, security, and overall enjoyment of our guests and employees within the pool area.

As a Lifeguard, you will be expected to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, respond promptly to emergencies, and uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor swimming pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
  • Enforce facility rules, pool regulations, and safety guidelines in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to water-related emergencies, including rescues and evacuations.
  • Provide immediate first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) when required.
  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment, safety devices, and cleanliness of the pool area.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and ensure they have a positive experience.

Qualifications:

  • Red Cross Water Safety or Lifeguarding Certification (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from Red Cross (required)
  • Strong swimming ability and physical fitness level
  • Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills, attentiveness, and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
