We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to join the dynamic infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions that ensure high availability, performance, and security across our enterprise systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving network optimization and scalability initiatives that align with our business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

•  Design and implement network architectures that support high traffic loads and complex connectivity requirements

•  Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues utilizing tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios

•  Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices

•  Lead incident response efforts for network outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly

•  Document network configurations, changes, and procedures, contributing to knowledge management and operational efficiency

•  Mentor junior network engineers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing

•  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and network enhancements

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

•  5+ years of experience in network engineering or operations, with a strong background in enterprise networking

•  Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP), MPLS

•  Proven experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems

•  Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible

•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues

Preferred:

•  Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent

•  Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Networking)

•  Experience in managing SDN (Software-Defined Networking) environments

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

•  Proficiency in network design and implementation, including LAN/WAN technologies

•  Experience with network monitoring and management tools, including SNMP and NetFlow

•  Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista

•  Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

•  Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
