What Are Our Wishes
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Leader to spearhead a complex Data Migration initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the full lifecycle of data migration from legacy systems to new target platforms. This role requires excellent leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of data management principles.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in leading complex data migration or data integration projects.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data governance, and data quality control.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Advanced skills in tools such as SQL, Python, or data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or similar).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills and proven experience working in fast-paced environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certification highly regarded.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with cloud migration (Specifically Azure and Databricks) and/or on-premises to cloud data transition.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives successfully.
• Ability to mentor team members and foster professional development.

Focus On The Project

• Able to Manage up to 2 Scrum teams in parallel.
• Ensuring Project deliverables and critical path of the project is upheld.
• Stakeholder Management and Negotiation skills.
• Strength in Documentation, Reporting, Scheduling and Monitoring deliverables from each stakeholder.
• Strength in Report Generation and Mastery on Microsoft office tools (Power BI, Word, PPT and Excel)

Project Planning & Strategy*

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Prepare and manage project budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Business Intelligence, Finance, etc.) and external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at various levels.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by setting realistic goals and timelines.

Data Migration Execution

• Oversee extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Implement best practices and industry standards for data migration, quality, and security.
• Monitor data cleansing and validation activities to mitigate risks of data loss or corruption.

Risk & Issue Management

• Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and maintain a risk register with action plans for resolution.
• Escalate critical issues to management and propose feasible solutions.

Team Leadership

• Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members throughout all project phases.
• Foster a collaborative culture that encourages continuous learning and innovation.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Monitor project deliverables to meet quality standards and timelines.
• Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations.
• Prepare and present project updates and executive summaries to senior management.
