About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with backend knowledge to join our client's engineering team in the ongoing development and evolution of their sophisticated marketing platform. In this role, you will design and implement robust, scalable frontend solutions while collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, with a strong appreciation for clean, maintainable code and modern development practices. This position offers the opportunity to make meaningful technical contributions and influence platform architecture across multiple applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable frontend solutions using React and TypeScript.
  • Build and integrate GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client for efficient data management.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and a seamless user experience.
  • Follow and enhance best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Implement and promote type safety and code reusability across the codebase.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Stay updated on emerging frontend tools, frameworks, and best practices, recommending improvements when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript practices.
  • Experience working with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
  • Familiarity with UI component libraries (e.g., Mantine, Material UI, or similar).
  • Experience managing forms and state in complex React applications.
  • Understanding of state management, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with build systems, module bundlers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and technical discussions.
  • Comfortable working in Mac or Linux development environments.

Preferred:

  • Experience in advertising technology or marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial data systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining multi-app workspaces or monorepos.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries and real-time data processing systems.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards, data privacy regulations, and security best practices.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, or HIPAA.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the developer community.
  • Can start immediately, if possible.
