We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to architect, automate, and scale our cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with our engineering team to design CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments, and ensure high reliability across our AWS-based, serverless stack. This is a hands-on role that combines deep software engineering experience with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for serverless and containerized applications.
  • Build, monitor, and scale infrastructure across AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with backend, frontend, and data teams to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Set up and maintain observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting, tracing).
  • Implement best practices for security, compliance, and resilience.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS (especially Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar).
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, , Go preferred).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
  • Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS optional).
  • Experience in monitoring and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
  • Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and automation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in serverless or event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with DynamoDB schema design and Lambda function optimization.
  • Exposure to startup environments or fast-paced product teams.
  • Experience with security automation or compliance frameworks.
