Job Description

As an AU Paraplanner, you'll craft accurate, compliant, and personalized financial advice documents, working closely with Authorised Representatives to uphold technical excellence, regulatory standards, and client-focused strategies.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3+ years prior experience in Australian Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance is preferred
  • Prior experience in dealing with financial advisers
  • Experience in using all modules of Xplan software
  • Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisers
  • Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office as well as other relevant software applications

Your Daily Tasks

  • Develop and construct quality, compliant advice documents and related collateral for CFP's Authorised Representatives
  • Ensure accuracy, technical soundness, personalisation, and compliance with legislation and CFP guidelines
  • Review advice document requests and collaborate with Authorised Representatives to ensure appropriateness and quality
  • Maintain professional standards and represent Capstone Financial Planning with competence in all interactions
  • Assist Authorised Representatives in optimising the use of Paraplanning services
  • Assist in developing and improving Paraplanning processes and procedures
  • Participate in team projects aimed at enhancing internal services

Technical Expertise

  • Maintain current knowledge of financial planning legislation, industry obligations, and advice strategies
  • Source and evaluate technical resources and information
  • Attend technical update sessions relevant to the industry

Adviser Training

  • Assist in compiling and preparing adviser training materials and reports
  • Facilitate workshops and deliver training presentations

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Participate in and contribute to the completion of assigned projects
