Operational Risk Management Officer Job DescriptionThe Operational Risk Management Officer (ORMO) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of operational risk activities in ShopeePay, ensuring compliance with BSP Circular 971, 900, and other relevant BSP circulars concerning Operational Risk Management. This role involves managing the operational risk framework and aligning it with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Framework across the organization. The ORMO will identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate various operational risks, including human-related risks, liquidity risks, and BCP concerns, across different business units and functions.

The responsibilities include:Identifying and assessing operational risks associated with business activities, processes, systems, and external factors. Conducting risk and control self-assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of operational risks, collaborating with stakeholders to identify emerging risks. Monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) and other metrics to track changes in the risk profile, and evaluating the effectiveness of controls and mitigation strategies.

Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to mitigate risks and improve risk resilience. Coordinating responses to operational incidents, analyzing root causes, and identifying improvement opportunities. Promoting a strong risk culture through awareness, training, and accountability initiatives.

Encouraging proactive risk reporting and identification among employees at all levels.
