Responsibilities:

· Works harmoniously with other members of the team to render comprehensive emergency nursing care to all patients.

· Transports patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures

· Maintains a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and crew members.

· Operates and drives ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.

· Maintains patient's confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights

· Assists in providing patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.

· Assists in documenting patient information, condition, and treatment

· Assists in providing basic life support and gather patient data

· Assists in providing first aid treatment at the scene of emergency situations.

· Familiarity with ambulance design, features, capabilities and limitations.

· Ensures timely and accurate record keeping and completion of report forms as required.

· Ensures utmost confidentiality is adhered to on behalf of patients, colleagues and others with whom he/she comes into contact with.

· Constantly and honestly communicates unit movement with central operations.

· Communicates ambulance matters and concerns to Central and mechanics.

· Supervises the maintenance of assigned ambulances, its equipment, and supplies.

· Ensures that the crew is informed at all times about the road conditions ahead that may significantly affect the comfort of the patient and the crew.

· Properly conducts general inspection of the assigned ambulance and properly documents the findings to be relayed to Central and mechanics.

· Maintains a presentable appearance, good grooming and come always in full uniform as prescribed by the company.

· Ensures strict implementation of company guidelines and rules.

Occasional Tasks

· Participates in lectures, seminars, and meetings required by management

· Performs all other duties attuned with the company's line of work as may be assigned by the Shift Duty Manager, Operations Manager, or the Medical Director.

Qualifications:

· Candidate must at least be a High School Graduate/College Graduate/Undergraduate and/or Vocational Course Graduate;

· Can drive automatic and manual vehicles

· Must poses a Professional Driver's License – A, B, C, D w/ categories:M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, N3

· Capable of making immediate and sound decisions;

· Must be EMT-B licensed;

· Updated Advanced Cardiac Life Support

· Updated Basic Life Support

· Updated IV training course

· Must be physically fit;

· Knowledge and experience in Defensive Driving

· At least 6 months as a fleet driver;

· Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure;
