About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and manage our Azure cloud infrastructure in a .NET environment. You will be responsible for implementing infrastructure solutions, maintaining deployment pipelines, and ensuring the performance and security of our systems. This role emphasizes a code-first approach using Terraform or Azure Bicep and includes supporting application migrations to Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure Azure resources (networks, VMs, storage, databases) following security and scalability best practices.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications using Azure DevOps (experience with Jenkins or similar is a plus).
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management, including role-based access control and conditional access policies.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and other IT teams to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Assist in workload migrations from on-premise or AWS to Azure.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and contribute to DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
  • Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, security).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management in Azure environments.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and/or Azure Bicep for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (other tools a plus).
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux system administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of AWS would be an advantage.
