About the role

General Chemical and Resins Consortium Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Rosario Cavite. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of critical machinery and equipment in our operations. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, and other specialized machinery
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with machinery and equipment, and implementing appropriate repair solutions
  • Conducting routine inspections, maintenance checks, and performance testing to identify and address potential problems proactively
  • Maintaining detailed logs and records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of any mechanical issues
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

What we're looking for

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology Graduates
  • Experience is an advantage but not required
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekend shifts, as required
