General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records of all financial transactions
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements, identifying trends, variances, and improvement areas
  • Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments
  • Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely collections
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to optimize financial resources, reduce costs, and improve budgeting practices
  • Coordinate and support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
  • Present financial updates and analysis confidently during board meetings
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records
  • Use QuickBooks to manage general ledger, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Management or a related field
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong background in financial reporting, cash flow management, and collections
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Confident and professional demeanor, especially in presenting to senior leadership
  • Strict and principled personality, with high ethical standards

Preferred:

  • Experience in board-level reporting or corporate finance settings
  • Background in budget forecasting and financial planning

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
