Job Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to support our client's project controls function across major construction and industrial projects. This role plays a key part in developing, analyzing, and maintaining project schedules and cost control systems, ensuring deliverables are achieved efficiently and within scope.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong technical planning expertise and the ability to provide insightful scheduling analysis and advice to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans in coordination with Project Managers and site teams.
  • Conduct schedule analysis, identify potential risks or delays, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide cost control, estimating, and analysis support within the Project Controls framework.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of project planning data, documentation, and reports.
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling information between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Generate regular progress reports, variance analysis, and forecasting for management review.
  • Support client and internal reporting requirements and ensure compliance with project and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
  • 5+ years' experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost control, preferably within the construction or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, scope control, and change management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and scheduling or cost-tracking systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
