Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software initiatives, ensuring they align with company objectives and meet client requirements.
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to outline project goals, define deliverables, and establish realistic timelines.
  • Build and maintain robust applications using TypeScript and React, following modern development standards and practices.
  • Use project tracking tools such as Linear to monitor progress, coordinate tasks, and support smooth team collaboration.
  • Review code contributions, coach junior engineers, and help improve development workflows and processes.
  • Keep updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually strengthen our engineering capabilities.
  • Attend occasional in-office sessions for meetings, kick-offs, or team events, while enjoying a primarily remote setup.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a Lead Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar role leading software development projects.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms (e.g., Linear).
  • Strong background in TypeScript and React, with a solid grasp of software architecture and scalable design.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and support a team in achieving project milestones.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a hybrid (remote + occasional onsite) setup.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with Figma, to foster closer collaboration with design teams.
  • Knowledge of Python, giving you added flexibility and the ability to contribute to a wider range of projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php150, Php250,000.00 per month
