JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SERVICE DESK ENGINEER
The Company:
Acceligent Solution Inc. is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integrator that has been providing comprehensive network infrastructure solutions and managed services to clients since 2014.
The Service Desk Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with system setup, installation, and maintenance
- Monitor and track service desk tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams when necessary
- Document solutions and maintain detailed logs of issues and resolutions
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT systems and processes
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and troubleshooting techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and network configurations
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent are desirable
Work Set-up: Onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City
Time: 9 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday
