About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Vavasoftware, Corp. as a Certified AWS Server Engineer. As a Certified AWS Server Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable AWS infrastructure to support the company's business objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, implement, and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure
  2. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and other DevOps tools
  3. Monitor and optimise AWS resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance
  4. Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy applications on AWS
  6. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to AWS infrastructure
  7. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or AWS Server Engineer
  2. Certified AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
  3. Proficient in AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation
  4. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  5. Strong understanding of networking, security, and automation principles
  6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  7. Good communication and collaboration skills
