Boiler Engineer Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• The role ensures a high standard of equipment maintenance, compliance with mechanical codes, and adherence to safety regulations. It's also responsible for plant mechanical equipment and systems correct technical scoping, spare parts planning and ordering, scheduling, contract terms of reference, and contract management as well as contracted scope in the preparation up to the execution and close-out of all outages.
• Responsible in outage preparation, spare parts ordering, and planning of defined outage philosophy, catch-up maintenance, and opportunity work orders as well as preparation of outage maintenance budget, control, and its effective utilization for the outage.
• Work closely with the Outage Team to properly plan and manage schedules during the planning phase and execution phase ensuring technical compliance, commercial compliance, and quality compliance.
• Lead the Boiler team for timely and quality work execution.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing mechanical parts of static and rotating equipment such as turbine, pumps, cranes, compressors, belt conveyors, pressure vessels, tanks, and similar equipment used in the power plant.
• Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to evaluate and resolve mechanical conditions to maximum operating efficiencies when doing repairs in the workshop.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• License (Professional Regulation Commission).
• At least ten (10) years of solid Boiler Supervision / Outage background experience from a Power Generation company
