JOB PURPOSE
The Digital Channel Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of the organization's digital channels, including websites, mobile apps, and digital sales platforms. This role requires a blend of marketing acumen, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue through digital means.
The Digital Channel Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization effectively leverages digital channels to reach and engage its target audience. The role is responsible for creating a cohesive digital strategy that enhances customer experience, drives brand loyalty and maximizes sales and revenue.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning & Channel Management
- Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee the management of all digital channels.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Analytics
- Utilize analytics tools to measure channel performance and ROI.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders highlighting progress and strategic insights.
- Engagement, Collaboration and Innovation
- Enhance user experience on all digital platforms.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase user engagement and retention.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, sales, and customer service.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors for campaign execution.
- Ensure digital initiatives align with offline marketing efforts for cohesive brand presence
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Experiment with new formats and channels to enhance digital presence.
- Utilize industry insights to inform strategic direction and capitalize on new digital marketing opportunities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of digital marketing
- Knowledgeable in UX Design with UX best practices and methodologies
- Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including CMS, SEO, SEM and social media tools
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
- Familiarity in creating user-centric content and layouts
- Knowledge of social media marketing and strategies
