The Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in the sales and implementation process, working closely with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions that Microgenesis caters and addresses customers' requirements and challenges. This role requires high technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

I.     Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and propose effective solutions.
  2. Collaborate with Business Solutions Managers (BSMs), Distributors, and Principals to create tailored fit Bills of Materials for every project.
  3. Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our products and services.
  4. Create Network Design/Architecture based on customer requirements.
  5. Develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical inquiries.
  7. Work and collaborate with the Business Technology System Group (BTSG) and Technical Support Department (TSD) and other related teams/units, including product development and engineering, to ensure proposed solutions are viable and align with the company's offerings.
  8. Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure timely updates, efficient resolution of issues, and seamless collaboration across departments.
  9. Collaborate closely with the implementation team to facilitate a smooth hand-over process, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction through successful technology delivery and implementation.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations and insights.
  11. Continuously enhance your expertise by successfully completing all required product training and certifications.
  12. Prioritize customer satisfaction by diligently identifying and resolving all technical issues within assigned accounts at every stage of the sales cycle.
  13. Submit a daily/weekly report to immediate supervisor (Senior Technical Manager / AVP / VP)
  14. Support the broader sales team and company goals in any way necessary.

II.     Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field of study
  2. At least 1 year experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, or similar role.
  3. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies and platforms (e.g., Firewall, Switches, Wireless, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Detection & Response, Servers and Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, etc.).
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs and solutions.
  5. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support sales activities.
  8. Experience in Network Infrastructure and Security
  9. Willingness to render extra hours that includes weekends and holidays
