Position Accountability Statement
The System Admin is responsible for the maintenance and support of Maxicare IT infrastructure for both AWS and On-premises environments. The post holder will work in an environment of continuous change while minimizing disruption to system users.

Broad Responsibility Highlights

  • Ensure database integrity and optimize database systems performance reliability.
  • Develops and manages server security, backup and recovery plans.
  • Ensures availability of Maxicare IT infrastructure.
  • Responsible for installing, upgrading and configuration of SQL Server environment.
  • Ensures IT infrastructure -related requests and incidents are resolved within the prescribed service levels.
  • Test and monitor performance and provide performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining IT Servers (On-premises and Azure).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedure and documentation.
  • IT infrastructure asset management, including maintenance of inventory and related documentation.
  • Assist with the deployment of infrastructure security measures.
  • Interact with vendors, customers, and staff at the technical level, as required.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the IT Department and Maxicare by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and practices.

Desired Skills And Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of security best practices for AWS, AZURE and other cloud technologies.
  • Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies, including Office 365, PAAS, IAAS, SAAS, etc.
  • Experience with Active Directo and third-party single sign-on technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT industry standards, change management processes, and use of enterprise standards change control procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; think and act quickly to solve issues.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to provide the explanation of technology for nontechnical managers, directors,

and above. Great people skills are a must.

Qualifications And Guidelines
Education : Graduate of BS ECE or BS IT, or any related courses

2-3 Years experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure

Experience : 3-5 Years' experience in System or server Administration.
