Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Solutions Specialist with advanced skills in Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles. This role focuses on supporting the business in streamlining and automating key operational workflows, setting up new systems, and building practical tools using the Microsoft ecosystem.

You'll work closely with the business owner to deliver both quick-win solutions and robust automation processes. A mix of technical skills, creative thinking, and systems configuration experience will make you successful in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate

  • Configure new systems (e.g., ordering, truck tracking, manufacturing workflows) within the Microsoft 365 environment

  • Set up background processes, automations, and triggers using Teams, Lists, and other Microsoft tools

  • Work directly with business stakeholders (primarily the business owner) to gather requirements and translate them into low-code solutions

  • Apply creative problem-solving and UI/UX thinking to deliver intuitive tools and user experiences

  • Support the rollout of new tools and ensure their ongoing configuration and maintenance

  • Occasionally assist in simple system configuration or integrations (coding not required; APIs at most)

Requirements

  • Proven, advanced-level experience with: Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Teams
  • Background in Software Engineering or experience with system thinking and process design

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery

  • Strong understanding of low-code/no-code platforms and best practices

  • Creative mindset and an eye for user-friendly, effective solution design

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with business stakeholders

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Lists and related automation tools

  • Familiarity with process mapping and workflow optimization

  • Exposure to API integrations (optional)
