Job description

  • Review of the Tender Documents regarding the Client's Requirements, Materials Specifications and Project Schedule or Timeline
  • Conduct project site inspection and prepare reports
  • Attend Prebid Meetings and submit Minutes of Meeting
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposal such as construction schedule, methodology, manpower schedule, equipment schedule and other required in the tender documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial Proposal such as cost estimate and detailed price analysis, quantity take-off, canvassing of material prices from supplier, current labor rates and equipment rates, and soliciting subcon proposals for specialty works
  • Prepares project presentation if required by client

Job Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in tendering, cost estimation, and project planning in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in preparing technical and financial proposals for government or private sector projects.
  • Background in site inspection, project scheduling, and bid documentation is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in construction project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-off procedures, cost estimation methods, and current labor/material/equipment market rates.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, construction standards, and procurement regulations.

Analytical & Organizational Skills

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of preparing detailed project schedules, manpower plans, equipment mobilization plans, and cost breakdowns.
  • Ability to conduct material canvassing and evaluate subcontractor proposals.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to attend and represent the company in pre-bid meetings and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Capable of preparing clear and concise reports and presentations for internal and client use.

Other Requirements

  • Willing to travel for project site inspections and meetings.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work on-site in Rosario, Pasig City
