Accountants
will provide financial services and will be required to:

Role Purpose/Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts in accordance with
  • Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis, ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve internal tax technical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate and organised client records using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, BGL, etc.).
  • Liaise with the onshore team regarding client deliverables, queries, and deadlines.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting and tax experience, preferably within a public accounting firm.
  • Sound understanding of Australian taxation laws and compliance obligations.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and lodging ATO forms (BAS, IAS, FBT).
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and tax compliance platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and commitment to meeting deadlines
