Job Overview

The Electrician is responsible for electrical panel assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and general electrical work across various projects. This role supports installation, maintenance, and testing activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and install electrical panels according to drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Perform electrical wiring for machinery, equipment, and project installations
  • Prepare, verify, and organize project materials, tools, and components prior to execution
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing and measuring devices
  • Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety
  • Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition
  • Follow electrical safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations at all times
  • Support commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities as required
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support project completion

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in electrical, industrial, or panel wiring work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, testers)
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and schematics
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on electrical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical diploma, ITI, or certification in Electrical or related trade
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or project-based electrical environments
  • Knowledge of control panels, motor controls, or automation systems
