Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights to senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training opportunities.
  • Develop and manage the company's annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
  • Prepare financial forecasts to guide business planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor budget adherence and address variances proactively.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable to ensure efficient cash flow.
  • Review and approve vendor payments, reconciliations, and customer invoicing processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain accounting software and tools as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
