About the role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Area Supervisor to oversee sales operations and implement trade strategies for our beauty and skincare brands in a designated territory. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role involves managing sales performance, optimizing inventory, executing trade marketing initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate sales targets to the team at regular intervals.
  • Monitor sales across all stores in the assigned area to ensure targets are met.
  • Organize regular sales meetings to evaluate progress and strategize improvements.
  • Propose enhancements to store displays for increased brand impact.
  • Ensure standardized implementation of POSM (Point of Sale Materials), product displays, and visibility across all channels.
  • Recommend store display upgrades or refurbishments as needed.
  • Develop and execute trade promotions aligned with business objectives, shopper profiles, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain high merchandising standards in collaboration with retail partners.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing slow-moving or near-expiry stock.
  • Identify discrepancies in sales or inventory levels and take corrective actions.
  • Report slow-moving SKUs to Brand Managers for strategic adjustments.
  • Conduct regular store visits
  • Onboard new Area Coordinators, Sales Admins, and Sales Associates before deployment.
  • Collaborate with Training Specialists to develop programs that enhance sales team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company protocols by all staff members, including retail partner standards.
  • Submit regular reports on progress, challenges, and competitor analysis to the Area Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Area Sales Supervisor in the beauty/skincare industry or FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in general trade or modern trade channels.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset for market trend analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel/Word/PPT).
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively within the assigned area.
